Jurnal Bawaslu Provinsi Kepulauan Riau Volume 3 Nomor 2 Desember 2021

Tidak jarang dijumpai pelbagai problematika pada setiap penyelenggaraan Pemilu, namun problematika utama dari seluruh permasalahan dalam pemilu adalah berkaitan dengan keadilan. Keadilan pemilu menjadi suatu harapan yang ingin diwujudkan dalam setiap penyelenggaraan pemilu atau yang dewasa ini dikenal dengan electoral justice system. Electoral justice merupakan instrumen penting untuk menegakkan hukum dan menjamin sepenuhnya penerapan prinsip demokrasi melalui pelaksanaan pemilu yang langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia, jujur dan adil. Electoral justice system diwujudkan untuk mencegah dan mengidentifikasi permasalahan pada pemilu, sekaligus sebagai sarana dan mekanisme untuk membenahi permasalahan tersebut.
